1. Who we are

1TechSpace ("1TechSpace", "we", "us") is a software company based in India that builds and operates products including Tapstar, WaaS (WhatsApp as a Service), Alankar, RTODesk, GharChalo, AdatPro and AutoPrint, and delivers custom software for clients. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit https://1techspace.in, use our products, or receive messages sent through our services.

2. Information we collect

• Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone number, business name and the message you send through our contact form.
• Account and business data — details entered by our customers and their staff while using our products (for example customer lists, orders, invoices or print jobs).
• WhatsApp and messaging data — phone numbers, message content, delivery and read status, and opt-in or opt-out records, processed when a business uses WaaS or our integrations with the WhatsApp Business Platform.
• Files you upload — documents or photos submitted to products such as AutoPrint or Tapstar.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and basic diagnostics collected through server logs and cookies.

3. How we use information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer message content or uploaded files to train third-party AI models.

• To provide, operate, secure and improve our websites and products.
• To respond to enquiries, onboard customers and provide support.
• To send messages that a business has configured and that the recipient has agreed to receive, including transactional and service notifications.
• To detect fraud, abuse and security incidents, and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Our role: controller and processor

For information collected on our own website and for our own business relationships, 1TechSpace decides how the data is used. For data that a business customer puts into a 1TechSpace product about its own customers (including WhatsApp conversations), the customer decides the purpose and 1TechSpace acts as a service provider processing the data on its instructions. The customer is responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consent for messaging its contacts.

5. Sharing of information

We share information only as needed to run our services:

• Infrastructure and service providers — cloud hosting, storage, email and analytics vendors bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) — when a business sends or receives WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform, message data is processed by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Authorities and advisers — when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, safety and security.
• A successor — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Details of retention periods are in our Data Policy. Contact-form enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months; product data is kept while the customer's account is active and deleted or returned after termination as described in the Data Policy.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, role-based permissions and regular backups to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse and will notify affected parties of a breach as required by applicable law.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP or by telling the business that sent them. To delete your data, follow the steps on our Data Deletion page.
